Vandals set fire to ex Perth tram 63 causing extensive damage to one side. Interior fittings had previously been subject to the attention vandals. ... Tram 63 was built by Brill in 1914 with Brill trucks and GE motors. With a seating capacity of 52 it weighed 17 tons and is 44 feet in length. After withdrawal by Perth Tramways it was transported to Albany in 1952 for use as a holiday cottage. It was returned to Perth in 1971 when it went to Castledare for preservation. | | | |
