NOTES: |
|
| Six Austin Loadstars with bodies by Cliff Houghton were purchased new from Winterbottom Motors (Subiaco) by Inter Suburban Bus Service. It is known that three of these were numbered (15), (16) & (17), and it is thought the remaining three may have been numbered (18), (19) & (20). All six passed on to Bassendean Bus Service, but it is not known what fleet numbers they carried in that fleet. On 27 Feb 1955 all six passed on to the WA Government Tramways where three received overhauls & re-paints into WAGT livery. One is known to have become WAGT (6), with the other two thought to have become Nos (7) & (8). The other three were disposed of by the WAGT. | | | | | See entry for Inter Suburban ( 15) for a photo of one of the six Austins awaiting disposal by WAGT. | | | |
