Panther 998 is fitted with full air conditioning. The motor to drive the air conditioner is fitted on the nearside just behind the front door. The air is circulated through the bus by a large united fitted along the offside roofline inside. Notices have been atached to the bus windows advising passengers of the air conditioning and requesting that the windows be left shut. Drivers operating the bus have written reports at the end of the day giving both their comments and the reaction of passengers.
